About the event

Join Professor Frank Rennie for a community launch of his new title, 'The Corncrake: An Ecology of an Enigma'. Part of the Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival, co-ordinated by the RSPB.

This will be both an online and in-person event.

Frank Rennie is Professor of Sustainable Rural Development at the University of the Highlands and Islands and Head of Research at Lews Castle College UHI. A natural scientist, he tutors on the MSc in Sustainable Rural Development and the MSc Digital Pedagogy, as well as supervising research students. His main research interests lie in new approaches to online education and the potential benefits of digital networking for rural development. He has been an advisor to several government bodies, is a Fellow of seven learned societies, and has published over 36 books.
